Well, who would have thought? It's so cool that there is this much
interest. We are FULL UP for Saturday afternoon at the Hard Rock.
Anyone who is not on the list will not be able to come in. There is
still a little room on Friday night. Thanks to everyone for being
good on the RSVP's.

This Just in From "Stoney" Johnstone of the Quadropheniacs:

"Stoney" Johnstone and Clint Sandford of the "Quadropheniacs"  will be at the La Bar Bat gig and will join Who's Next for a number or two...  Stoney plays the part of John Entwistle and Clint, the part of Roger Daltrey in the Quadropheniacs, a Who tribute band from Washington D.C.

Please join us to celebrate the music and the vibe that is The Who, as well as toasting the birthday of the finest bass player that ever lived, John Entwistle! There will be live music, amazing live readings, viewings of very rare film footage, the sharing of rare who memorabilia, who toy give-a-ways (bring yours to add to the table), a few who things to buy, and the very special chance to meet your who family. We look forward to seeing you at WHOLAPALOOZA II NY!

8 PM - 12 AM: Rare Who Memorabilia, DVD and Video Viewing at The Hard Rock Cafe (in a private room, on an 8 foot screen. There is a 75 person limit, so please email your RSVP (see below).

8:00PM at The Hard Rock:

Around 9:00PM Who Toy Give-away: Many people will be bringing items to place on the give-away table. We will then draw numbers to select items off the table. (Bring it, one person's who trash is another's treasure.)

Part Two is being presented at La Bar Bat.

8:30 - 11:30 PM (and maybe beyond): WHO'S NEXT: The Ultimate Tribute Show -

A John Entwistle Birthday Celebration, featuring many JAE classics and new surprise songs.

Barry and Chris from The Wholigans will be present at the Who's Next show, and who know what might happen!

An end of evening get-together is planned for The Irish Pub.

Admission to Le Bar Bat is $5 -

Admission to the Hard Rock is FREE

(Food and drinks obviously strongly encouraged - 20% gratuity will be added to all tabs). 

 



The content of the Hard Rock Cafe viewings is still being planned but
will certainly include some great pro-shot concerts from 2000 and
2002. If you have something rare that you'd like to contribute,
please contact one of us - all information will be held in
confidence. And if anybody has rare memorabilia they'd like
to "display," we'd love to set that up as well.

There will be a screening of TKAA at The New York Film Festival. Wholapalooza promoters thought it would be a good choice, and the festival agreed!

THEATER LOCATION
The Walter Reade Theater is located on the north side of West 65th Street, between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue, one flight up on the plaza level. Look for our purple banner on 65th Street near Amsterdam Avenue to locate the escalator and elevator to the plaza level. Or you may take the escalator at the corner of 65th Street and Broadway and then walk west to the end of the plaza. By Subway: take the Red Line Number 1 or Number 9 to the 66th Street stop. Bus Lines M104, M5, and M7 all stop in front of Lincoln Center. Garage parking is available on 65th Street under Lincoln Center.
